Jana Waterfall is a 30 feet high watefall located near Manali in a quaint village called Jana. One has to trek to the waterfall through dense deodar and pine trees amidst snow-capped mountains. The climb is easier compared to many others in the region and can be completed by beginner level hikers too. There's a wooden bridge laid perpendicular to the direction of Jana Falls which trekkers use to walk across. There is also seating arrangement near the waterfall.

Tourists can reach the waterfall on two-wheelers although it is not recommended as the region has a rugged and rocky landscape.
Some stalls near the waterfall sell local snacks. A piping hot plate of Maggi and a nice hot cup of chai is a must-have here. Picnickers can carry snacks and beverages along with them if required.
Wear decent trekking shoes as the trekking trail is rocky and uneven.
The electricity is cut off in the area after 7:00 PM. So, make sure to return before time.
